then others in late spring. Many connoissseurs plant for the very fine
and narrow foliage and compact growth habit.

Tibetan Peony
This rare Chinese treasure produces more vigorous clumps of sandy white stems than the straight species. Simple and elegant saucer-shaped yellow flowers are also larger, at up to 5 inches each. In autumn the enormous, pinnate foliage develops fine tints of red color.
