Richard Meacock
Richard
was born and raised in England, where he learned to mow lawns and trim
hedges to the exacting standards expected by his father.
Needless
to say this nearly killed off any love of gardening. In fact his
fondness for gardens returned when he came to live in America.
He
can now be seen mowing and trimming the extensive lawns and hedges at
Squire House. As well as building the arbors, pergolas and clematis
towers that are a hallmark of the gardens, Richard is also a full time
teacher at Mounds Park Academy in St. Paul.
